1960

The Birth of a Heavy-Duty Pioneer

The Huanghe JN150 8T truck is successfully manufactured. This marked a massive milestone for China’s automotive industry. The Huanghe JN150 was China's first domestically produced heavy-duty truck, breaking the country's long-standing reliance on imported heavy vehicles and laying the foundational brick for Sinotruk's manufacturing legacy.

Global Technology Integration (Steyr Partnership)

China's first Steyr truck rolls off the assembly line. Looking to modernize its fleet, the company introduced advanced heavy-duty truck technology from Steyr-Daimler-Puch (an Austrian manufacturer).

Introduction of the HOWO Series heavy-duty trucks. The launch of the HOWO brand marked the beginning of the convergence of China's heavy-duty vehicle industry with international markets.
